Some home improvement companies would baulk at the prospect of adding a new kitchen to this compact bungalow, but not us! We relished the challenge and managed to fashion a traditionally styled kitchen on the outside that boasts modern styling on the inside. With so little space to play with we still managed to include multiple storage solutions in the carefully crafted kitchen, making the most of every single inch of space available. The cooks in the house have everything they could possibly want.
As you can see at the side of the extension, a mix of brickwork was utilised and Golden Oak finish chosen to blend in the kitchen with the rest of the house. The mini stairway was implemented so that the kitchen has its own exclusive entry point from the outdoors. We can imagine that first-time visitors using the stairs will be surprised when they discover that there is also space within the kitchen to accommodate a mini breakfast bar and dining table – it’s amazing what we can do. Since completing the extension, the occupiers no longer feel cramped for room whenever they’re applying their culinary skills indoors. Cooking is no longer just a hobby for them; it’s a way of life.
